Project Engineer/Geologist

Robert is a Geologist and a Geotechnical Engineer with over 14-year combined working experience in gold, manganese, iron, lithium and limestone exploration in West Africa and South America.
Robert Abambila has over the past years worked on several projects in Africa and South America serving in different capacities as a junior exploration geologist, project geologist and GIS geologist responsible for exploration project planning, implementation, supervision and personnel training.
Robert was part of the team of geologists and engineers that successfully evaluated and defined the multi million tonne manganese ore deposit at Matthews Ridge in Guyana, South America.
Robert has actively been involved in executing projects for some multinational and local juniors as well as top mining firms in Ghana delivering solutions from boardroom through grassroot exploration to resource definition and feasibility studies.
He holds an MSc in Geotechnical Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Geological Engineering all from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology.
Robert has occasionally undertaken professional development courses in Geotechnical Applications in open cast and underground mining with case studies, Rock Mass Classification, Pit Slope Design and Underground Stability, and Mining Tailings Storage Facility Management.
He is a member of the Ghana Institution of Geoscientists (GhIG);
